ekko your sound
Introducing EKKO, a cassette-inspired delay plugin that blends lo-fi charm with unpredictable sonic movement. From warm, saturated echoes to warped, chaotic reflections, EKKO brings a nostalgic texture combined with modern sound design.
But Ekko is more than a traditional delay. Ekko’s unique ‘Scramble’ feature, inspired by our Jumble sampler, randomly shifts the delay playhead in sync with your DAW, creating fragmented rhythms and scattered ambient trails. Add Fade for tremolo-like motion or to help smooth transitions. With a new ‘weighted’ ping-pong that’s unique to Ekko, cassette-style degradation, and clean 12dB filters, EKKO invites both control and chaos.
Scramble, freeze, flip, and deconstruct your delays – EKKO is more than a delay. It’s a beautifully broken memory machine.

discover ‘ekko’
At its foundational core, EKKO is a clean digital delay with all the features you’d expect, but with some tricks up its sleeves. With a 1-minute delay time and sync functionality, plus a unique weighted ping-pong and clean 12dB filters, echoes are precise and flexible – just as capable of subtle spatial widening as it is of long, evolving ambient tails. Whether you’re after tight rhythmic repeats or expansive, washy textures, EKKO delivers the fundamentals with clarity before twisting them into something far more unexpected.
Where EKKO starts clean, it quickly wears down. With cassette-inspired Wow, Flutter, and Saturation from our Drift cassette engine, your repeats can dissolve into a beautifully unstable haze. Whether you want subtle pitch drift or full-on warble, EKKO’s decay controls let you dial in just the right amount of vintage imperfection. Push the saturation to add warmth, texture, and harmonic grit – or pull it back for a pristine path.
EKKO was built to break its own rules. Activate Scramble to randomly scramble the delay buffer at tempo-synced intervals, then use Fade to morph those fragments into blooming tremolo-like pulses. Flip the live buffer direction for instant reversed echoes, or freeze it in place to capture loops that you can then scramble. This is where EKKO steps beyond delay – into a tool for creative disassembly.
- echo clean, tempo-synced delays with weighted ping-pong, extended delay times and precise 12dB filtering
- decay your signal with cassette-style wow, flutter and saturation for warmth, drift and character
- disrupt repeats using buffer scrambling, performative reversal and freeze functions for unpredictable, textural movement

scrambled echoes
‘scramble’ randomly repositions the delay buffer playhead to a completely unquantized position, creating unpredictable, shifting echoes. use the rate slider (which is in sync with your DAW) to control how often the playhead moves, from slow jumps to rhythmic glitches. pair with the fade control to smooth transitions, or push it higher for tremolo-like movements and blooming textures.
tape degradation
ekko lets you introduce cassette-style character without affecting the core signal. add wow, flutter, and gentle saturation to your echoes for movement, warmth, and vintage flavour. the repeats stay clear unless you choose to colour them – dial in as much or as little degradation as you like, from subtle imperfections to worn-out tape textures.

unique ping-pong
normally, when you introduce ping-pong on a traditional plugin, echoes alternate evenly between the left and right channels, starting from a fixed point. in ekko, ping-pong is weighted to your preference. you choose which side the first reflection lands on, and how much, giving you precise control over the stereo image. this allows for more intentional placement in the mix, subtle movement, or extreme panning effects that evolve with each repeat.
