jumble your sound
Introducing Jumble, an idiosyncratic sampler that embraces simple randomisation within a confined structure to create new ambient soundscapes and backdrops. Effortlessly load your favorite sample and let Jumble dynamically shift between random positions, unveiling previously unheard melodies and rich textures. Send the result through crystal clear delays and an expansive reverb, then modulate the amplitude and frequency content of the sample to craft intricate sonic tapestries.
While the playhead’s placement is entirely random, the synchronized interplay of the internal note gate, delay, and modulation introduces a symphony of novel and inspiring patterns, ensuring each performance is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. It’s more than a tool; it’s a heartfelt ode to the limitless possibilities of generative music.

discover ‘jumble’
at the heart of jumble is the internal gate which moves the sample playhead at a rate synchronised to your host tempo to create a form of controlled randomness. this means every time a new gate is triggered, playback will jump to a new random position. Adjust the gate length and jumble rate according to your preference. If desired, also introduce octave jumps at random intervals whenever the playhead advances. Additionally, incoming MIDI notes are randomized, facilitating the effortless creation of diverse melodic content.
jumble includes a high quality state variable filter with SWITCHABLE high pass and low pass modes, plus a crystal clear delay and spacious reverb. EASILY TWEAK THE FREQUENCY CONTENT, THEN CREATE AN entireLY NEW SOUNDSCAPE FROM YOUR ONCE-STATIC sample.
jumble includes 2 LFO modulators – one for the filter, AND one for the sample amplitude. while on paper these sound RELATIVELY simple, when combined with the randomisation, it’S easy to contain and structure the randomisation into pockets of rhythmical structures. or, go one step further and randomise these, too.
- randomise the position of the sample playhead, SAMPLE octave AND INCOMING MIDI NOTES to create new melodic or textural content
- colour the sample using the built in filters, delays and reverb
- modulate the frequency content and sample amplitude to constrain the randomisation into more structured content, or randomise it even further
controlled randomness
depending on the sample, jumping to a new position at random can reveal new ideas and textures never heard before. This erratic nature can be tamed with the internal gate, fx and modulators to bring a static sample to life. try recording the output to a separate track in your daw to create contained loops.
use your own samples
it’s easy to use your own samples in jumble. just drag and drop onto the waveform, or right-click the waveform to locate your sample. you can also edit the playable area of the sample – the playhead will only jump to a new position within this area.
manual mode
turn on manual-mode to deactivate the internal gate, which results in the playhead moving only when a MIDI NOTE IS received. explore jumble using your own arpeggiators and sequencers to trigger the playhead to jump.
built in preset-browser
jumble comes with 40+ inspiring presets out of the box, plus you can save and recall your own presets with the included preset-browser. there’s also support for your own preset categories and banks TO FURTHER DIVERSIFY YOUR OWN LIBRARY.
